Pack up your bike (or load a light day pack) & follow Bob McHenry on an overnighter to O’Neill Park. Qualifies as a S24O (sub 24 hour outing) if we get back before 1… $15 fee to cover shared expense of group campsite reservation and firewood.

SATURDAY:
Only 18.2 miles out, +1.333/-442 ft , so enjoy the morning club ride to warm up before you load up to ride at 1pm to RSM & drop into the park from the east. For a bit more challenge, we offer a wee bit longer 19.4 mile +1.540/-647 ft way to camp over Live Oak Canyon from Cook’s Corner.
Dinner:
Some love to prep camp food, some love to eat out… Bring fixins to prepare your own dinner in camp OR pack lighter & plan to stroll just over 1/2 mile up Trabuco Canyon to dine at the Rose Canyon Cantina & Grill (Mexican) and walk back to camp after dark. (Route)
YOU MUST RSVP by July 14 to get a seat at the reserved tables for dinner! Some folks are driving up just to join the dinner & skip camping!
Sunday morning - bring your favorite camp breakfast items before breaking camp, loading up & riding back to Deerfield.

Drive to camp, Ride the route backwards to meet the group, U-turn & return;
Sunday take the short route back, and at Portola, follow the Saturday easy route back to camp…
