Guest Speaker / Program: Double feature!

Club secretary Bob McHenry will present a fast-paced short course on clothing, lighting, equipment, and options for safely riding your bicycle at night. This presentation is a prelude to the FULL MOON FUN RIDE on Saturday June 15th.
Meeting attendees will also have a chance to win free lighting!  Club sponsor Cygolite has generously donated some headlights and taillights to be raffled at the end of the meeting.  So come and learn what you need to know to participate in the FULL MOON FUN RIDE the following Saturday.

Rick Schultz will speak on increasing power. Rick is a USA Cycling certified coach with Hunter Allen’s Peaks Coaching Group and coaches UCI Masters racers, Mountain Bikers and Triathletes as well as those who just want to start riding again. He also works with juniors and junior teams helping these first year racers get started towards realizing their cycling potential.
Rich will discuss how he melds both bike fit art and science and how he provides you a personalized Bike Fit. Starting with an evaluation of your flexibility and also your Pedaling Efficiency via the Computrainer and SpinScan software. Rich’ process looks at Bike Fitting from the viewpoint of a Physical Therapist/Kinesiologist. He knows and understands Anatomy, Kinesiology, Physiology and Kinetic Chains.
