BCI is a recreational, social and non-racing cycling club for all skill levels that has been an active club for over forty years. You don’t have to become a member before riding with us - just come and see if the club is a good fit for you, and then join if you feel a connection.

Get in Shape
Cycling with a club gives you incentive to get out and move, especially when lots of friends are expecting you! We don’t race but you may feel challenged by your buddies.
The BCI Difference
Each ride is crafted for high-quality routes for all skill levels. Our Ride Coordinator is on top of modifications when there’s road construction or demographic changes that might affect traffic patterns.
Great Value
Ride as a guest but when you join as a member for $25/year, you get a free RideWithGPS Club Account, ridership challenges with Strava, and access to an extensive ride bank with over 50 current and past routes. Discounts are offered to members by local bike shops.
Small Groups, Big Experiences
Leave from a brewery, stop at a donut shop, put your bike on a ferry. Ride the coast and take the train back. Travel with BCI to out-of-town destinations like San Diego, the Central Coast, the Sierra Nevada, or even oversees. Holiday and special rides usually draw smaller, more intimate groups than our local weekday and weekend groups.
Be Social
Information-packed general meetings with guest speakers, raffles, and refreshments occur every other month. We have a summer BBQ, a holiday potluck party, and post-ride lunches at local food courts. Activities are always evolving.
Peace of Mind
The safety of our members and guests is our highest priority. Newbie classes and rides are offered for new & returning riders. Join and receive access to CyclingSavvy, a program of the American Bicycling Education Association. And safety-focused, supplemental medical and life insurance is included in your $25 membership.

Ride with seasoned cyclists
We’re a non-competitive, recreational social club. You’ll gain confidence and the security of riding with a group of people who share a passion for cycling, are accomplished cyclists, and don’t aspire to do the Tour de France.
