Start Time: 9:30 a.m.
Start Location: Carlsbad
Leaves from Carlsbad Village Rd and
Coast Hwy to Solana Beach, then inland to Rancho Santa Fe and lunch at Thyme in the Ranch. The route then continues through some very scenic countryside to Elfin Forest,
and San Marcos, and returns via Palomar Airport road back to the coast and Carlsbad. A 57 mile ride. There is also a 40 mile option which utilizes the same route to the lunch

This will be a fun, reasonable Italian dinner with a full bar. They have promised separate checks and seating just for us on the patio.

California Ride Share Week
California Rideshare Week is October 5-9 this year, and you have the opportunity to win some great prizes simply by participating in this exciting promotion. Spectrumotion and OCTA are partnering together to bring the promotion to this area of Orange County.
Irvine Spectrum Commuters who participate in Rideshare Week have the chance to win a $250 gift card from Spectrumotion, in addition to the prizes offered by OCTA. The gift card is good at the Spectrum Center, Fashion Island or The Tustin Marketplace.
Here's how you can participate and register in this promotion...
1) Rideshare any day (or days) during October 5-9
2) Visit the Spectrumotion website at http://www.72share.com/rideshareweek2009.asp
3) Review the promotion details at our website. The hit the "Click Here" option in the text and you'll be taken to OCTA's website where you can register how you commuted to work that day.
Each day you rideshare and complete an on-line registration, you'll be eligible to win a prize. The more days you rideshare/register, the more opportunities you have to win! Important note - OCTA will make the registration form "live" on their website on October 5. This means that you can begin registering on October 5, however, the registration form won't be available prior to October 5.

Bring your bike, tire levers, spare tube and pump. You'll learn the steps involved in replacing a blown-out tube! (Clinics will be held for a minimum of three participants.)
Sunday, October 25, 6:00 p.m.
Sunday Night Dinner get-together at 6:00 pm
El Cholo (Mexican) will offer individual checks. They are preparing a
special menu for us for our approval.
