Thank you all for being there and participating!
From the response I think we did a good job, and I could tell, especially for those who were touched, that we will do it again next year and bring more friends.
I especially thank to Jason's parents, who came with music performed by their 13 year old son,
to Christy's widower who spoke and read the Ride of Silence poem,

a sister who brought a memorial to her brother,
to Everett's widow who attended, and by contacting the Mayor, helped move the Police support into place,
and to my love, who rode by my side & is glad to hear I made it safely home after every ride I enjoy.
It was a deep honor to have you all follow me;
Sincerely, Bill Sellin _________________

On behalf of SHARE Mountain Bike Club and hundreds of other bicyclists, I would like to thank the Irvine Police Department for supporting the Ride of Silence this evening. I was truly moved by the event and hope that it will help to save lives on our streets. Organizer Bill Sellin did a great job of leading the event and remembering our fellow bikers who have lost their lives on the roads.
Thank you,
Ken Rands
Volunteer Coordinator

Thanks so much for putting last night's ride together. I was amazed at how beautiful it was to ride in silence and have time not only to reflect on those that lost their lives, but I was able to take in so much of the beauty around me. With the lost of Christy Kirkwood a friend and Trail Angel, I would like to know how the Trail Angels could somehow be a support of what you do.

Hi Bill,
Thankyou, and BCI for putting on another great Ride Of Silence. Anything that helps raise awareness, and at the same time, pay tribute to those lost is a wonderful thing.
I shot some pictures of the event, if anyone is interested.

Thanks again!

There was a photographer at the Ride of Silence on Wednesday evening. Does anyone know how to contact him? I've had a request from some of our members who'd like to get some photos from him.
Thank you again, for the opportunity to participate in this important event. I look forward to working with BCI in future activities to protect and promote cycling safety.
